My Firm

Christopher Monroe is a Financial Services Representative with Lakeshore Financial Group in Chicago and Peoria. Since 1995, clients have chosen to work with him because he is honest, creative and dedicated to helping them create financial security for themselves and their loved ones. What this means to his clients is that he shows integrity in all that he does and is committed to educating his clients on solutions that are always in their best interest. The benefit to them is the confidence in truly feeling heard and that the path they choose is one that will help best meet and exceed their goals and expectations.

In addition to his practice, he has owned Family Medical Equipment and Supply and The Plaid Daisy since 2001, and they are run by a team of unwavering employees. This allows Chris to focus his daily attention on his clients. Chris has integrated his experiences as a second generation business owner with his financial practice to help entrepreneurs blend and balance the complex environment of family and business. Chris’ unique perspective of business ownership and financial industry knowledge allows him to tailor solutions to uniquely fit his clients’ needs.

TAILORED SOLUTIONS TO UNIQUELY FIT CLIENTS' NEEDS

Chris’ mission is to be a servant leader to others, especially children, in his community.  Chris began volunteering with his father at ten years old and this is where he discovered his passion to serve others. Chris has served on several boards such as the Peoria Art Guild and the Center for Prevention of Abuse. Chris has received multiple awards including the Prescott E. Bloom Distinguished Service Award and the Forty Under Forty Winner of Peoria. One of his greatest accomplishments was to bring CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to Peoria County. He spent two years as the Steering Committee Chairman and served as the founding Board President for five years. In recent years Chris has become involved with the Peoria Public School Foundation Horizons Club. Through this program, Chris speaks to all of the grade schools in District #150 to give junior high students guidance, encouragement and how to be brave in this world. He enjoys this because it fulfills his drive to help children and serve others.

Chris graduated Cum Laude from Wabash College in Indiana and currently resides in Washington, IL with his wife, Heather, and two of their children and three cats. Their two sons are serving our country as active duty U.S. Army Soldiers. Chris’ wife, Heather, works at the practice and oversees the day to day operations.
